Over good quality & operation, reasonable value
Began using American Hawkeye on the the basis of Big Shots Lincoln Ne range owner recommendation as an ammo to start with and encounter how it went. I have a Beretta M92 9mm, and a Springfield XDs Modern 2 9mm. Possible Bad Batch?
Bought this concluding calendar month and seem to be having problems with about 1 or 2 out of every 20 rounds. Round would misfire and upon ejection and inspection I would notice that the primer was struck. Haven't had issues with other types of Federal ammo. I will say that it does seem to be firing cleanly which I will give it 4 out of five for. But as of now it seems like it's not preforming upwardly to standard

All-time ammo for me
Put 100'south of rounds through my Beretta m9 And CZ 75. Non 1 failure. Was using Winchester white box and Fiocchi and both of those brands had a few hiccups. Plus, the American Eagle was the cleanest ammo I've found to appointment. After a day at the range I didn't feel the need to clean my guns. Only slightly powdered. I'll clean them afterward my side by side trip. Big time saver!

I am a new shooter and I had been buying single 50 round boxes when I go to the range.
I take used Remington UMC FMJ 115 mostly. Sometimes Fiocchi and Federal American Eagle.
I decided to purchase in bulk to relieve money.
I recently bought 1000 rounds of American Eagle an I have used 11 out of the xx boxes (fifty rounds or box)
My merely complain is that one-half of the boxes had dingy ammo. There is powder residual and I get my fingers, part of my hand when I load the magazines. Manifestly the pistol gets some of the powder balance also.
Since I am new to ownership in bulk I am non sure if this is normal. I think thou the ammo should be make clean.
Every bit For the performance in that location is no problem. It works great just I do not recollect I'll exist buying information technology in majority again.
I bought Remington UMC in 250 boxes and 380 can and the ammo was make clean.
And so next time I'll 1000 rounds of Remington UMC. Hopefully it volition be clean.

This ammo is excellent for the range. I exercise weekly with various weapons - Sig, CZ, and Glock - and have yet to experience any major problem and that includes some heavy rapid fire training. On my last batch of thou rounds, I experienced i misfire! Well made ammo and very clean.

My go-to ammo for range practice
I have ordered and shot a lot of this ammo through a Glock 19, Gen four and a M&P Operation Center Shield 9mm. I can say without hesitation this is fantastic range ammo. American Eagle makes very dependable and consequent shooting ammo. I have now ran approx. 2000 through the Glock and approx. 800 through the shield. I have not had the first FTL or FTE yet to date. I get very consistent groups with both gun. I wouldn't consider information technology any dirtier ammo than most range rounds. The cost is good and all-time of all its made in the USA!!!

I bought thousand rounds of this ammunition for my iv 9mm firearms. I shot 100 rounds at the range through my new M and P Shield and they all functioned perfectly. I also have reloaded all of the cases I shot, and the reloads turned out beautifully. I will buy more of this when needed and good chore to Lucky Gunner for the fast shipping. A few misfires
I have purchased 2,000 rounds of this ammo. Only I had ten misfires out of 100 last time out. The cap was dented, just no belch. I ran it Bach thru and they fired? Good production though.

Early but ii things to note
My uplula seems to put a dent/bend in the casing when loading. It did non on my Fiocchi casings. It'south a local company so I want to support them. Only fired about 300 rounds of my 1,000 and had one primer non fire. It took 2 strikes to fire and it'south possible that it was my Springfield only after inspecting the round between strikes it seemed more like the round. Otherwise all good.

Miss fires
Shot 100rds and x of them did not discharge. The primer cap was dented, and then the firing pin hit its mark, only but a click from the trigger. I alter the bound and guide rod and will caput dorsum to range and see how it goes.

Shot through my G19 gen3. No failures or performance issues, but shot quite dirty and gave anybody I was shooting with, at an indoor range, a "sweet" taste in our mouths? Likewise, packed in a way that doesn't maximize space/tray is poorly designed. For the toll I'd await it to be better thought out...especially for a product made in the U.s..

Burns Hot and Dirty
If you clean your gun after every time you use it, you volition be fine.

Not impressed, dingy and inconsistent
I have bought Federal 115gr in 1K cases a couple of times. I bought information technology because is US made and supposedly a not bad brand. Frankly I am not impressed. The ammo always seems to burn down existent dirty and I don't recollect is very accurate. I have had better luck with Magtech and Fiocchi. Given that Federal is almost always more and given my experience, I don't run into whatsoever reason to purchase it vs. the other options. This is ane case where made in USA didn't deliver a better product.

I've shot this ammo through my Sig P250 and Kimber 1911 9mm and find it to be accurate, undecayed and actually make clean compared to other ammo in the aforementioned price range. Never had an issue with information technology and beloved the easy cleaning, fifty-fifty after 300 rounds. This ammo is my favorite for for practice and IDPA.

I have had zippo just success using Federal American Eagle in my South&Due west Grand&P .40 and my Sig P238, so when I recently purchased a Sig P938 9mm I looked for the same brand of ammo. Excellent Purchase
I purchased the 9mm Federal American Eagle afterwards using the same brand in 40 S&W. It performed better than my Winchester Ammo in the 40 S&West so I thought I would endeavor it in 9 mm. It is as good or better than my Winchester 9 mm. The guns are FNX-40 and FNX-9 and I had no issues with either gun with this Federal brand.

Good only had a bad round
I have had great luck with this ammo but it well-nigh ruined my Sig P229. In that location was 1 round that had no powder in information technology and the bullet got lodged in the butt. Real pain to go out. Don't want to imagine what would happen if I had fired the round after information technology.

Decent ammo
This stuff is INCREDIBLY dirty. Some boxes are total of filthy cartridges (on the outsides) and some are relatively make clean. However, every time I shoot this ammo, I become a right arm covered in soot and ash. But, it goes blindside every time I pull the trigger, and I oasis't had any feeding or ejecting bug in the 400 or then rounds I've shot, and it is fairly cheap.
